New Delhi: After a video purportedly showcasing a Punjabi couple who gained notoriety for selling kulhad pizza went popular online, the pair is now the center of controversy. Sehaj Arora, the proprietor of the food cart, has reported the video to the police, calling it phony.
In a Jalandhar neighborhood, Sehaj Arora and his spouse were well-known for serving a distinctive pizza in kulhad, or clay cups. The husband and wife discussed how they met and fell in love before getting married in the widely circulated footage of them making pizza on social media.
Social media users have been sharing a video lately that supposedly depicts the owners of "Kulhad Pizza" in a vulnerable situation. Following the video's global success, Mr. Arora clarified the footage on Wednesday, labelling it "fake".

In an Instagram video, Mr. Arora said that someone had provided them the “fake” film and was requesting money as he was waiting outside a Jalandhar police station. He went on to say that when the video was posted online, they declined to provide the money.
He said that he made a formal complaint and went to the police. He emphasized that the video was entirely fraudulent and may have been produced by artificial intelligence. He also pleaded with people not to distribute the video.
